Frequently Asked Questions

Does Duni Women's Healthcare & Fertility accept insurance for Telehealth? 

​

  • Yes. If your plan covers a Telehealth visit, we will be for the service. However, you will still have to make your co-payment before the telehealth visit. 

  • If your insurance plan includes a health savings account (HSA) or flexible spending account (FSA), you can use your funds from these accounts to pay for care on Duni Virtual. Some of these plans include a debit card you can use to pay up front, and others require you to submit your receipt after your purchase.

  • If your insurance includes out-of-network coverage and/or a deductible, you may be able to submit your receipt from Duni Virtual for reimbursement. Eligibility is determined by your insurance company and will vary depending on your plan.

What is Duni Telehealth's cancellation policy?

​

  • Virtual visits: cancel up to 2 hours before the scheduled visit.

  • Same day appointment virtual or in-person made will be refunded if a request is made within one hour of the purchase.

  • We are unable to offer a refund for no-shows, missed appointments, disagreement over clinical outcome of the visit, or for not receiving a prescription.

  • Appointments can be rescheduled.

Will I get a prescription?

​

  • The provider will prescribe deemed necessary medications as it is available in the office setting. Please note that Duni Virtual providers do not prescribe certain drugs such as narcotics or designated controlled substances.

Is my payment and medical information save?

​

  • Yes. Duni uses Stripe, the most trusted and Secured third-party payment platform in the world. Duni Virtual’s systems and platforms are all HIPAA compliant.

Can I use Duni Telehealth even though I have insurance?

​

  • Yes. If you are looking to save money and pay the provider directly.

​

Does Duni Telehealth offer emergency visits?

​

  • No. Please call 911 or go the nearest emergency room.

​

Can I get testing and imaging through Duni Virtual? Yes.  

​

Do I have to pay online, or can I pay at the doctor’s office?

​

  • All Duni Virtual visits booked must be paid online.

What are my payment options?

  • You can pay using VISA, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover. You cannot pay by check, money orders, or cash.

  • If you have a health savings account (HSA) or flexible spending account (FSA), these accounts often include debit cards you can use for purchases. These cards can also be used on Duni Virtual.

Do I have to pay for a follow-up visit?

  • Yes. If a follow-up appointment is needed, you will need to book and pay for that appointment separately.
